1.Basic Information about kyu-Furukawa Garden
The Kyu Furukawa Garden is known for its Western-style house designed by Josiah Condor and the Rose Garden.
Western-style buildings are usually available for guided tours and also have cafes.
Currently, to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, you can only visit the 1st floor with admission restrictions (admission fee is required)
Ogawa Jihei, alias Niwashi-Ueji, a designer of Japanese gardens from Kyoto, created the Japanese garden renowned for its beauty that matched the level of the residence.

2-1.Spring（March to May）
You can enjoy collaboration with Weeping cherry blossoms and brick building designed by Joshia Condor at Kyu Furukawa-teien
2-2.Summer（June to August）
Light ups are done during the spring (June) and the autumn rose season.
The scent of roses that makes you flutter up a fantastic landscape.
2-3.Autumn（September to November）
From the end of November to the beginning of December, you can enjoy the autumnleaves with the rosegarden
There is also a Japanese garden, so let’s enjoy a mix of Japanese and Western styles.

This is yukitsuri ,snowhanging .
Yuki-tsuri, a kind of rope umbrella is a measure to protect mainly pine trees against the weight of snow.
It can be seen from about December to February.
