1.Basic Information about kyu-Furukawa Garden

The Kyu Furukawa Garden is known for its Western-style house designed by Josiah Condor and the Rose Garden.

Western-style buildings are usually available for guided tours and also have cafes.
Currently, to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, you can only visit the 1st floor with admission restrictions (admission fee is required)

Ogawa Jihei, alias Niwashi-Ueji, a designer of Japanese gardens from Kyoto, created the Japanese garden renowned for its beauty that matched the level of the residence.

You can enjoy collaboration with Weeping cherry blossoms and brick building designed by Joshia Condor at Kyu Furukawa-teien

You can see the collaboration between the Western-style house and cluster amaryllisred spider lily) in the Kyu-Furukawa Garden.

2-4.Late autumn（November）

In the Kyu-Furukawa Garden, roses bloom even in autumn.

From the end of November to the beginning of December, you can enjoy the autumnleaves with the rosegarden
