Jiyu Gakuen myonichikan was built in 1921 design by the Frank Lloyd Wright, who was born in the US.

This temple was built in February 1681.
In spite of an earthquake and a war, it was left unchanged.

The Kyu Furukawa Garden is known for its Western-style house designed by Josiah Condor and the Rose Garden.

Ogawa Jihei, alias Niwashi-Ueji, a designer of Japanese gardens from Kyoto, created the Japanese garden renowned for its beauty that matched the level of the residence.
The closest station to the Kyu-Furukawa Garden is Komagome Station (3 stations from Ikebukuro on the Yamanote Line), which is the same as Rikugien Garden above.

3.Just over 90 minutes from Ikebukuro! Cluster of red spider lily “Kinchakuda”
Kinchakuda is just over 90 minutes from Ikebukuro Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line or Seibu Chichibu Line.
Clusters of red spider lily can be seen in Kinchakuda from mid-September to early October every year.
